🔎 We're looking for a sales-driven business partner​

For the past years we’ve been perfecting our innovation proces and exploring the best ways to translate sustainability into action, and now we’re looking for a business partner who can add some complementary skills to the table. While we are pretty experienced in the world of sustainability, circular economy, business innovation and design thinking, we’re not true heroes in sales, marketing, reaching out to, and expanding our network.

We’re looking for someone who knows all the ins and outs of business development, who has, or wants to develop, a big international network, and has experience with selling (innovation) services to corporate clients. You know how to bring the right story to the right person, are not afraid to test out new things, and are entrepreneurial by heart. You understand how business development works, are ambitious, and curious in the business opportunities that can be found in the circular economy and sustainability.

Your job will be to build up our sales strategy, and help us decide on the best marketing approach. You’ll be actively expanding our network and reach, and engaging with larger corporate clients to explore how we can best help them in translating their sustainability ambitions into innovative new products, services, and business models.

🗣 Languages

We aim at an international market where English is the dominant language, this means you should be able to express yourself in it fluently.

A good foundation of either Dutch or French

Apart from that, every extra language is a bonus because it opens up a bigger world for us.

What we have to offer

We’re good at what we do. There, we said it. In the past years, switchrs has been able to position itself as a company with great expertise on both sustainability and innovation methodology, but above all in the overlap between those two, and how to turn the often fluffy topic of sustainability into practical, actionable projects.

Sustainability and the circular economy are hot topics right now, but it’s also still very uncharted territory a lot of the times, meaning this job will be challenging on occasions. You’ll get to work on the frontline of sustainability, shaping the companies, organizations and policies that will define our common future.

As business partner we offer you a seat in a management position, taking key strategic decisions, help us in growing the team and building the company. Since we strongly believe in the power of ownership, we would love for you to take a share in switchrs as well.

Switchrs HQ is in Mechelen, Belgium from where we’re building the Impact Factory, one of the many projects we would love to get you on board with.
